About The Job
As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering the design, development, integration, and testing of complex control systems for a diverse range of clients. This role offers the opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge to real‑world challenges while gaining hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers who will support your development and help you build a strong foundation in systems engineering. Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all identified training both in‑house and external, as required.
- Assist in the creation of system architectures, designs, and specifications.
- Help integrate various subsystems and components to form a cohesive system.
- Participate in system testing and validation activities to ensure performance meets requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
- Participate in technical discussions with the project teams and assist in troubleshooting.
- Support commissioning at client sites under the supervision of experienced engineers.
- Support procurement activities as required.
- Be actively involved in the manufacture, assembly and testing of bespoke systems under the supervision of the workshop team.
- Suggest changes and improvements if opportunities arise.
- Engage in continuous learning to develop technical skills and knowledge relevant to system integration.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including software, hardware, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, procedures and protocols.
- Assist with any other duties reasonably requested and in line with the requirements of the role.
Experience and Knowledge
- Basic understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- HND or equivalent in Electrical/Control Engineering or a related field.
