As a Change Analyst (Finance Systems Analyst) in our Finance Systems team, you will be working within a team of finance professionals to deliver reliable and robust systems management and change processes linked to Finance.
This is a hybrid role; remote working and one day per week of onsite presence in our Leeds & Bradford offices (rotate each week). As this is a change role, there may be the requirement for some out of hours support when change is being implemented.
About the role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to –
Work alongside many other business areas, you’ll help drive the delivery of change impacting the Finance Function to ensure Financial, System, MI & Reporting impacts and issues are managed appropriately.
Provide Finance SME representation across all stages of our change lifecycle for cross functional projects and internal change as we support the delivery of our ambitious Strategy. You’ll collaborate effectively with Delivery teams to enable successful implementation within either a Waterfall or Agile environment, providing the bridge between the business and technical solutions.
Away from the key change work, you’ll support incident management and BAU change / system upgrade initiatives. You’ll work on the administration of finance systems and support users across the business with ad hoc queries, incident resolution & process improvements as you monitor an active incident inbox
You’ll want to develop your business change skills and have proven experience in supporting the full change lifecycle, accustomed to handling project work and are adaptable to an ever-changing priority workload
You’ll be collaborative and be able to evidence your great stakeholder management and partnering skills with internal and external stakeholders.
This’ll be coupled with an understanding of finance systems and processes – Oracle (Payables / Receivables / Fixed Assets, E-Business Suite, Oracle Analytics, HCM & Hyperion), General Ledger integration & transaction reconciliation
