Beko Europe is looking for a Fleet Support Executive. A critical role in the Delivery and Installation team within our operations division.
Based at either one of our Headquarter locations located in Watford, Hertfordshire or Peterborough, Cambridgeshire or potentially at one of our satellite depot locations across the UK, you will join our successful organisation during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
This is a broad role offering the successful candidate the opportunity of working across the organisation with multiple stakeholders and teams.
Reporting directly to the Fleet Engineering and Compliance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the Beko fleet of commercial vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, maximising availability and reliability. Including all legal, health & safety and operator license requirements are met and exceeded.
You will ensure that our fleet operates within a set budget criteria. That there is acceptable vehicle network availability and that the number of vehicles off road is minimised. You will also ensure that the fleet is presentable to the high standards that our brands and our customers expect.
You will effectively work with key suppliers and with internal stakeholders to deliver efficient levels of cost whilst also playing a key part in tender activities.
In doing so you will be a focal point regarding fleet technical and operational support for our teams across the UK.
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out supplier invoice cost vetting and repair estimate approvals
- Ensure consistency in supplier adherence to agreed contractual terms
- Manage and inform on fleet repair and maintenance cost reduction
- Support with day-to-day fleet issues and provide assistance as required
- Monitor fleet supplier performance whilst ensuring continuous improvement
- Support operator license compliance, OCRS and MOT pass rates alongside our wider teams
- Monitor operators licencing and make changes where required
- Monitor and vet vehicle PMI (preventative maintenance inspection) sheets as necessary and action anomalies with suppliers
- Develop and manage fleet performance KPIs and reporting as required
- Carry out day to day fleet administration and reporting activities
- Monitor MHE equipment at satellite depot locations to ensure full operational performance
- Assist in fleet audit activities and with compilation of post audit reports
- Attend supplier after sales review meetings as required.
- Support fleet engineering and compliance manager with ad hoc tasks
- Support fleet training and ‘toolbox talks’ activities alongside fleet engineering and compliance manager
- Attend engineering forums, staying up to date with industry and compliance trends
- Monitor and advise on health and safety
Skills required:
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously in a rapidly evolving environment. Both individually and within a wider supportive team

- City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in motor vehicle technology to technician\’s level desirable
Experience required:
- Proven practical experience in the repair and maintenance of modern vehicles at fully qualified level, either in fleet or retail sectors
- A level of national or regional vehicle experience required with sound knowledge in vehicle operating costs, fleet legal compliance, fleet management best practices
- Experience in fleet supplier and contract management
- Statistical analysis and reporting experience
- Exposure to operating within an environment sufficient to develop effective fleet related commercial understanding
Education / Qualifications required:
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent as minimum
- High English level in both oral and written skills
- Certificate of Professional Competence and LGV driving licence advantageous
- Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a recognised professional body such as IMI, IRTE, SOE
