A leading UK law firm with offices located throughout the country, are looking for a Litigation/Disputes paralegal to be based in their London office. The role is permanent and will involve assisting Senior support fee earners across the department. Our client requires someone who is willing to work hard and \’go the extra mile\’. Specifically, the successful candidate will be corresponding with clients, opposition and third parties to progress client files, drafting and submitting pleadings/statements of case for the County Court and High Court, liaising with Court prior to trials/hearings and preparing court bundles and cost budgets. Our client is looking for someone who has an excellent attention to detail and able to manage their own caseload under supervision in a calm, efficient and timely manner. Previous (and relevant) experience in a similar role is essential. Academically, applicants should have a good law degree or GDL, and preferably the LPC/SQE1. Excellent communication, organisation, administration (including own diary management), and exemplary IT skills are also essential. It is essential that applicants have a bare minimum of 1 year of continuous previous experience in a similar role at a well-known law firm(s) in the UK This role is mostly office based, but there will be scope for 1 day a week working from home once the initial training/induction is complete.
