Commercial Account Handler – London
Location: London (Hybrid/Flexible Options Available)

The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our clients dynamic London-based team, supporting both new business development and the servicing of existing client portfolios. You'll be working across a broad spectrum of Commercial Combined Insurance packages, supporting clients from SMEs to mid-corporates across diverse sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a client-focused role, has strong technical knowledge, and enjoys a mix of relationship management and new business handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial combined policies (including property, liability, business interruption, etc.).
- Support the placement of new business, working alongside Account Executives and managing some clients on your own.
- Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain the best terms and coverage for clients.
- Prepare renewals, mid-term adjustments, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver excellent customer service to maintain strong and trusted client relationships.
- Stay informed on market trends and regulatory developments.
About You
- Proven experience as an Account Handler in commercial insurance, ideally with exposure to commercial combined packages.
- Strong understanding of core commercial insurance lines: property, liability, commercial
- Cert CII qualified (or working toward)—Dip desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience in insurance systems such as Acturis and Microsoft Office.
