Senior IT Project Manager – Retail Hardware SolutionsLocation: Home based with occasional face to face meetingsType: Contract (via Umbrella)Rate: £400 – £450 per day
Start Date: ASAP – Initial 3 month contractAre you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex IT projects and leading high-performing teams? We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive excellence across every stage of project delivery.Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, and financial parameters.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication and strong support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish robust acceptance and quality criteria, ensuring customer satisfaction and sign-off.
- Monitor project performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide timely and accurate project reporting and escalation.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, including planning, control, documentation, risk management, and change control.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting, ensuring delivery against targets.
- Lead and motivate project teams, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
- Mentor junior project managers, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management.
- Experience of retail project management across EPoS / Self checkouts / RFID / retail hardware solutions is highly advantageous
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing sub-contractors and partners.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
