Senior AWS Consultant
- Salary: Up to £81,500 (Based on candidate experience)
- Hybrid Model: Mostly remote (ad-hoc to London)
- Job Type: Permanent
The Role
My client, a leading IT Solutions organisation are seeking a Senior AWS Consultant to deliver Enterprise Cloud Solutions. You'll lead technical projects, mentor team members, and provide expert consultancy to both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small to medium AWS implementations
- Design and deliver cloud infrastructure solutions
- Conduct Well Architected Reviews and health checks
- Mentor junior consultants
- Build strong customer relationships
- Support managed services as required
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years consulting/managed services experience
- Solid Data Lake experience with AWS data solutions (Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation)
- Advanced AWS skills (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (CloudFormation/Terraform)
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
Desirable Skills
- Azure fundamentals knowledge
- FinOps and cost management experience
- Additional AWS certifications
- Multi-cloud platform experience
