You will work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team across a variety of acute and community hospital sites, including: 2 main hospital sites with co-located Frailty Units Another site for complex and palliative care Expanding Hospital at Home services, active 7 days a week Innovative pre-operative frailty clinics and outpatient opportunities They offer dedicated time for sub-specialty development —including education, trauma/orthogeriatrics, movement disorders, or peri-operative medicine—tailored to your interests and career goals. The Role As a Consultant, you’ll: Provide expert clinical leadership in acute frailty, inpatient, and community settings Collaborate closely with Primary Care and Health & Social Care Partnerships Help drive transformational change within integrated care systems Contribute to developing the Acute Frailty Pathway , Intermediate Care, and Hospital at Home services Engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching with multiple medical schools Have a voice in the evolving shape of services and the opportunity to lead innovation This is more than a clinical post—it’s a chance to be at the heart of shaping how older people’s care is delivered across an entire health system.
