Salary: £5,729.22 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £85.20. The full-time equivalent salary would be £28,646.12 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £426.

Location: Newport

Duration: A fixed-term contract until 31 May 2027

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Campaign Assistant – Newport Labour Group. The post-holder will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support for the Newport Labour Group.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of the Labour Party and its values and structures
  • Experience of working in a Labour campaign environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Able to act with initiative in line with agreed processes, knowing when to refer or request support from others
