Job Description

Are you passionate about the automotive industry and ready to take the next step in your career?

We are currently looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team at our Portsmouth depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established and respected company within the commercial vehicle sector. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and support, helping them find the right parts efficiently and accurately.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, Plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 4 hours, i.e. 42.5 hours per week, 30 minute lunch (unpaid).
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a busy aftersales department.
  • Pricing of parts identified by the workshop and update the system in a timely manner.
  • Pre-pick all parts in line with the time frame set out.
  • Building professional and trustworthy relationships with our customers.
  • Satisfying internal parts requirements and interacting with our busy workshop team.
  • Accepting and receiving deliveries from DAF and other suppliers.
  • Processing deliveries and allocating parts to relevant jobs.
  • Processing old units and new part returns.
  • Liaising with key suppliers.


Ideally, we are looking for:

  • 2 years’ experience in the motor trade parts department is essential.
  • LCV or HGV experience.
  • Excellent customer service and strong administration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
