Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team at our Portsmouth depot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established and respected company within the commercial vehicle sector. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and support, helping them find the right parts efficiently and accurately.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, Plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 4 hours, i.e. 42.5 hours per week, 30 minute lunch (unpaid).
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within a busy aftersales department.
- Pricing of parts identified by the workshop and update the system in a timely manner.
- Pre-pick all parts in line with the time frame set out.
- Building professional and trustworthy relationships with our customers.
- Satisfying internal parts requirements and interacting with our busy workshop team.
- Accepting and receiving deliveries from DAF and other suppliers.
- Processing deliveries and allocating parts to relevant jobs.
- Processing old units and new part returns.
- Liaising with key suppliers.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- 2 years’ experience in the motor trade parts department is essential.
- LCV or HGV experience.
- Excellent customer service and strong administration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
