Job Summary
Anatomical Pathology Technologist (APT) to support the Mortuary and Bereavement team at Salisbury District Hospital. Applicants should hold a Level 4 RSPH qualification and be capable of working at a senior APT level. Level 3 RSPH qualified APTs and potential trainee APTs are also considered.
Main Duties
- Coordinate the smooth running of the Mortuary and Bereavement Service for Salisbury District Hospital covering Wiltshire, North Dorset and West Hampshire.
- Handle all administrative tasks associated with the service.
- Operate within a flexible team to deliver effective patient care.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of mortuary and bereavement processes.
