Paraplanner

Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Salary: £33,000 – £42,500 per annum (DOE and qualification)

Position Overview

KHR is working with a successful financial planning firm based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, seeking a highly organised and efficient Paraplanner to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Develop cash flow projections and perform financial analysis
  • Conduct research on financial products and providers
  • Liaise with financial advisers to understand client objectives and tailor recommendations
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation compliance
  • Assist with technical queries and complex case analysis
  • Support the development of planning strategies and financial forecasts
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes, industry developments, and financial planning tools

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning role
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards it
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and taxation
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
