If you are an experience Quality professional with a background in carrying out internal audits across Quality, Environment and Health and Safety Standards then this could be ideal for you.
You will ideally be a qualified lead auditor with a strong background in Quality Management Systems and Internal Audits focusing on ISO 9001, 14001 and 450001 Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or research type environment would also be beneficial.

This role is crucial for driving excellence across the business, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for improvement in quality, environmental, and health & safety areas.
Day-to-day Of The Role
- Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits across various departments and processes in alignment with the audit programme.
- Ensure all audits are impartial, objective, and produce clear, evidence-based, and actionable findings.
- Assess compliance with ISO standards and applicable legislation, identifying non-conformities and improvement opportunities.
- Complete audits on time, with results clearly communicated and reported to management.
- Provide guidance on corrective and preventative actions and monitor their implementation.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports to department heads and relevant forums.
- Support external certification and surveillance audits preparation and participation.
- Foster a positive QHSE culture and build strong relationships with department managers to ensure collaborative and value-added audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Lead Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001).
- Experience in research, manufacturing, or industrial sector beneficial
- Knowledge of QMS, EMS, OHSMS standards, and legal compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office with excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Experience conducting both onsite and remote audits.
- Desirable: NEBOSH Certificate, IEMA Membership, IRCA membership, Six Sigma, and Lean training.
