We are looking for an engaging and responsible Senior Sales Assistant to lead the diverse team at our Milton Keynes store. This role is 25 hours per week with shifts across 7 days and involvement in covering management holidays as needed.
The Role – Senior Sales Assistant – Milton Keynes
Senior Sales Assistants do everything Sales Assistants & Keyholders do, while also acting as a role model and coach to the team. As a trusted member of the management team you will play a more prominent & pivotal role in ensuring both the team and business needs are met, developing your people management and operational skills within retail.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for opening & closing the store when necessary, following all relevant procedures.
- Hit and exceed individual sales targets whilst contributing to the wider performance of the store: Sales, Conversion, UPT, ATV.
- Lead on delivery procedures when necessary, processing all stock in line with company expectations.
- Assist the store management team with day-to-day retail operations and health & safety procedures e.g. delivery, clock in/out, stock takes, replenishment, floor management and maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
- Drive high standards of customer service within the store, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional, unforgettable experience.
- Handle till transactions in line with operating procedures and assist with more complex enquiries from customers.
