We are seeking a talented engineer to join our UK-based team and contribute to the development of cutting‐edge positioning solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced navigation technologies for autonomous platforms, such as driverless cars and drones.

What challenge will you be taking on?
You will be working on the highest accuracy satellite navigation systems, providing performance improvements through mathematical algorithm developments and integration with other sensors, such as vision‐based, inertial and quantum‐based devices.
The role involves the development of advanced navigation solutions with a focus on high‐accuracy, hybridization and sensor fusion. It includes the full software development lifecycle, from requirements specification and system design to implementation and validation.
The position also entails performance evaluation of the developed systems, as well as exploratory work on emerging technologies and innovative applications in the field of positioning and navigation.
What do we need in our team?
We are looking for candidates with background and experience in:
Geo-location positioning or navigation systems (e.g. GNSS)
Mathematical techniques used in navigation systems, including (but not limited to) weighted least squares estimation and Kalman filtering
Precise point positioning (PPP), real‐time kinematic (RTK) algorithms
Algorithm design and documentation
We will also value previous experience and knowledge in:
Quantum‐based technology and sensors
Artificial intelligence algorithms
Non‐GNSS sensors for navigation
Mathematical background with experience in CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
C++ / Python
