Joining as a Senior Structural Engineer, you\’ll enjoy a collaborative environment that supports professional growth, provides chartership support if required and offers the opportunity to see your designs become part of some of the most desirable addresses in the country Senior Structural Engineer Job Overview Deliver structural design and analysis for a diverse portfolio of residential projects, from luxury one-off homes to large-scale multi-storey developments Collaborate closely with leading architects and developers to achieve structurally sound, aesthetically ambitious designs Produce and review detailed engineering drawings, calculations and technical reports using industry-standard software Apply creative problem-solving to overcome challenging site conditions, heritage building constraints and complex architectural features Ensure all designs comply with Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant building regulations Participate in site visits, inspections and client meetings to monitor progress and resolve on-site issues Contribute to sustainable and innovative design solutions, balancing performance, cost-efficiency and environmental impact Senior Structural Engineer Job Requirements Proven experience delivering structural engineering projects within the UK residential sector, ideally including large-scale developments and bespoke high-value homes Ability to work independently when required while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary design teams Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE) preferred; fast-track support to achieving chartership will be provided if not already attained Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
