Cleaner or Cleaners required £11.79 per hour Pocklington Tuesday to Friday 12.00 – 18.00 Monday to Wednesday 08.00 – 14.00 Role Description: Prestige Recruitment have once again been approached by our loyal client, who currently requires a couple of new cleaners for their care home in Pocklington. The ideal candidates; must be hardworking, reliable and trustworthy. Duties to include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and other general cleaning. Areas to be cleaned include offices, carpeted floors and desks, toilets, staff kitchen and Residential rooms. Key Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, and common areas Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces regularly Empty and dispose of trash in designated areas Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors Refill soap, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and desks Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Requirements: Ability to work independently and follow instructions Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies Physical stamina to perform manual tasks Prior cleaning experience
