Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team should be motivated, being able to interact on all levels and be flexible with a willingness to travel across Grampian.
Candidates are required to hold the NEBDN qualification or equivalent SVQ level 3 and be registered with the General Dental Council also a full driving licence is required for this post. It is desirable that candidates hold a sedation qualification if not it will be part of this position for you to undertake this qualification and you will be fully supported with this.
This post is a permanent contract 22.5 hours per week 8.30am – 4.30pm. Salary £29,116 – £31,670 pro- rata (AFC Band 4).
The post holder’s will be required to provide full chair side assistance to clinicians and decontamination duties it will be busy and challenging at times. There will also be a requirement for some reception duties to be undertaken.
It would be advantageous for this post holder to have a sedation post registration qualification in sedation or to undertake the NEBDN course.
Aberdeenshire Public Dental Services will support the successful applicant to attain this qualification.
