Job Description

Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Salary £26,177.99

Location Stoke on Trent

Hours per week 37.5

Contract type Permanent

You’ll provide an efficient, responsive, and holistic housing management service for customers living or moving into semi-independent or community homes. You’ll support customers with property viewings, tenancy sign-ups, benefit claims and provide move-on options advice. You’ll carry out property inspections for maintenance and Health & Safety checks.

Job requirements

• Providing contact, advice, and guidance to customers including preparation and delivery of occupancy agreements, tenancy handbooks and information packs and sign-ups.

• Assisting with all areas of move-in to make sure new residents are made to feel comfortable.

• Maintaining tenancy conditions and making sure that properties and stock are maintained.

• Dealing with enquiries and complaints from tenants and members of the community or public.

• Making sure regular property and health and safety inspections and report any issues to the relevant teams.

• Experience working in housing or in a busy environment where you regularly help or deal with customers or the public.

• Experience in dealing with customers with complex needs.

• Great communication and problem-solving skills.

• DBS required.

• Full UK Driving License with own vehicle for work purposes.
