Description
What You'll Be Doing:
· Draft, review, and manage software licensing agreements, amendments, renewals, extensions, NDAs and other legal documentation.
· Provide ongoing support for the business
· Manage the submission process for due diligence compliance checks for direct and third-party merchandisers.
· Support legal team members on consumer protection and compliance related matters.
· Track and assist on regulatory changes related to all aspects of e-commerce.
· Serve as the lead coordinator for the Direct-to-Consumer team's work with Legal Operations, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient processes.
· Collaborate closely with teams from different regions, cross-functional groups, and legal subject matter experts to address complex legal issues and provide global solutions.
· Continuously enhance your understanding of the video game industry, products and services, and legal developments through hands-on experience, industry events, and professional legal training.
Profile
- 5+ years (or equivalent) paralegal or contract management experience, particularly working in-house in an entertainment or technology company's licensing team.
- Experience managing commercial transactions.
- Experience in the video game, entertainment, or consumer products industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of consumer protection laws and software licensing practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in licensing management, contract management, and sales tools (e.g., Conga, Agiloft, CLM platforms).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal and external partners.
