Job Description
Insights Lead – Insurance
Oliver James are excited to be supporting a prestigious Global insurance firm with their search for an Insights Lead, based in the City of London. In this role you will play a vital part in core decision making sat within the Risk, Compliance and Legal team alongside the CRO. You will have the ability to make this role your own, influencing on key decisions and providing valuable insight to the wider business. If you enjoy influencing and being at the forefront of new initiatives; this role is for you!
Main responsibilities:
- Report into the CRO and wider teams including the Change Lead.
- To add value with a key focus on risk.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to the business.
- Working closely with the board to implement risk outputs and business planning.
- Establish excellent relationships with stakeholders.
- Write and approve board papers and executive summaries.
Key Skills:
- Recent and strong experience within insurance is essential.
- 1st and 2nd line risk and compliance expertise.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the FCA, PRA UK regulations.
- Must be able to speak confidently to clients and take initiative.
- Data driven mindset.
- Ability to lead on imitative and influence decision making, with a proven track record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
