Job Description
Halliday Marx have partnered with a London based accounting firm to hire an Accounts Production Manager on a permanent basis.
This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Responsibilities;
Producing year end financial statements for about 150 SME's
Improve internal processes for accounts production
Review VAT returns and corporation tax returns
Communicating with an outsourced tax firm and applying key criteria
Assist Business Line Manager in training and developing our Accounting teams
Use of Iris Accounts Production, Sage 50c and QuickBooks Online to maintain books and produce trial balance, profit & loss
Processing monthly payrolls including general payroll queries and related issues
Preparation of HMRC related returns including monthly PAYE/NI submissions and quarterly VAT returns.
Effectively manage the workflow of assistants
Admin and any other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements;
ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified
Expert in producing financial statements under FRS 102
4-5 years of UK practice experience
Forward thinking and driven to improve processes
