Job Description
My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore is looking to recruit a Production Engineer on a permanent basis.The main tasks associated with this role include working on BOM's and project associated tasks where there will be a requirements for some hands-on involvement in production. The main responsibilities of the role include- identify manufacturing needs for new products and customer orders- ensure all product and system requirements are set-up accordingly- generate production documentation including Work Orders, Kitting lists, and Route Cards- Improve manufacturing efficiency- Carry out FMEA'S – Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks- Perform Root Cause Analysis- Interpret Engineering DrawingsAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following- Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or time served experience- Experience of working within the guidelines of BS EN ISO 9001, 3834, EN 15085, predominantly welding and fabrication- Experience of working with Defense, Aerospace or Rail Industries and application of Def-Stan/Mil-Std and RIS- Knowledge of lean and six sigma methodologiesThe salary on offer is up to £32,000Keywords:Route Cards, Kitting Lists, Works Orders, Production Engineer, FMEA's , Root Cause Analysis,
