Job Description

Role: Indirect Procurement Manager

Salary: Up to £75K + Excellent Benefits

Location: Glasgow – Hybrid

Are you an Indirect Procurement Manager wanting to join to lead super exciting transformational projects! Is your experience in business partnering, as well as delivery of complex end to end sourcing projects across the breadth of the Indirect category? (HR/Pro Services or FM, Property)

These brand new roles are part of a wider campaign across Group Procurement offering a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in the Procurement function.

Indirect Procurement Manager Role:Key to your success in this role will be the ability to operate at a highly skilled level to coach the business through the sourcing process enabling them to be market ready. Building multi-year sourcing and category strategies using market data and industry trends, ensuring the true end to end cost picture, risks and innovation are fully articulated and understood. Developing and leading strategic supplier relationships with key stakeholder relationships. Ultimately, you will be tasked with driving commercial value,Cost Management across a broad range of business critical Indirect Procurement projects.

You will need to:

  • Have strong influencing skills and leadership, with the gravitas and adaptability to negotiate credibly with suppliers and engage with the executive management team
  • Be results driven with a track record of achievement while adaptable in the face of adversity, fast pace change transformation
  • Ability to identify benefit through contract lifecycle management
  • Contribute to financial planning, deliver against Procurement and business targets, ensuring delivery of targets, monthly forecasting including delivery of annual budget submissions

Experience:

  • Indirects Procurement experience – specifically in either HR & Professional Services. Or Property/FM with evidence of leading and executing complex and strategic sourcing activity
  • Full end-to end Sourcing, Supplier & Category Management experience with evidence of building sourcing and category strategies
  • Good understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework
  • Skills to influence and drive effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivation, tenacity, and a focus on delivery
  • Gravitas, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Degree / or CIPS qualified.
