Shunter Driver

R&V is looking for experienced Shunter Drivers for a well-known and respected company.

Job Description:– Moving trailers between loading bays, parking areas, and yard locations.- Safely coupling and uncoupling trailers in line with company procedures.- Supporting yard operations to ensure smooth and efficient vehicle flow.- Completing daily vehicle and trailer checks.- Maintaining accurate records and paperwork for trailer movements.- Working closely with warehouse, transport, and planning teams.- Adhering to all company rules, health & safety policies, and hygiene standards.- Following tachograph rules and working time regulations where applicable.- Any other yard or shunting duties as reasonably required.
Essential Requirements:– Minimum of 12 years shunting or Class 1 driving experience.- National Insurance Number.- Right to work in the UK.- Full UK driving licence (Category C+E preferred).- Good level of English.- Flexibility with working hours and shift patterns.
