*Enthusiastic and experienced Dental Practice Manager required for our Specialist Referral Practice.*
*South Coast Dental Specialists* are looking for a commercially minded and driven Practice Business Manager, who thrives on motivating the team and achieving goals. You will proactively drive performance through first-class leadership of your team. You will manage the practice through effective business planning, performance management, championing operational excellence, and by maintaining strong relationships with Clinicians and the Practice Team.
You will be focussed on practice growth, expanding, and enhancing services within the dental practice.
We are a group of dedicated dental specialists and special interest practitioners in Wimborne and Dorchester, established in 2013, offering first class dental care to the local population. We accept referrals for treatment, advice and second opinion or treatment planning. We focus purely on providing specialist dental treatments and since we started, have developed a well-earned reputation for being a centre of dental excellence, as well as the destination of choice for dentists referring more challenging cases.
All our team are highly trained in-patient care, expert diagnosis and treatment planning. We provide high-quality treatment, using the best equipment and materials, in a stress-free environment. The practice is fully digitalised, including radiographs, CBCT scanner, intra-oral scanner and SOE dental software.
*Key responsibilities & duties:*
The Practice Managers duties are as listed but not limited to.
* Ensuring the highest levels of care and patient experience
* Maintaining the practice’s reputation
* Identifying opportunities to grow the practice
* Recruitment and staff inductions
* Deliver financial KPIs
* Efficient day-to-day running of the practice
* Manage practice controllable costs in line with budgets
* Activity management to meet Private targets
* Hold regular practice and clinician meetings
* Gather and analyse relevant activity data
* Grow private patient numbers
*Academic or trade qualifications:*
Private dental or medical business management background is preferred but not essential
*Work experience and skills:*
* At least 2 years Management experience
* The successful applicant will either have a solid background in clinical dentistry and some experience of administration of dental practices or impressive management experience
* Excellent leadership skills with extremely high standards
* An excellent communicator with a passion for helping people and growing teams
* CQC knowledge advantageous
* Computer literate essential and SOE experience advantageous but not essential
*Experience and skills:*
* Previous customer service experience
* Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
* You must be able to build relationships and provide empathy to patients
