Here at Blueprint Recruitment, one of our top clients, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, is looking for a motivated and technically proficient Electrical Design Engineer, to join them in a permanent role. This role will consist of hybrid working, with three days a week in the client\’s office in Southampton. Our client specialises in mechanical and electrical engineering design, across multiple sectors including healthcare. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Design electrical systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects. -Produce drawings, specs, and calculations using industry software. -Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. -Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams. -Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders. Key Requirements: -A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. -Experience in electrical design within a consultancy. -Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and standards. -Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, or Dialux. -Strong communication and time management skills. -Membership (or working towards) of IET or CIBSE (desirable)
