Job Description
My client, an Engineering company based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer on an ongoing Temp contract.You will work collaboratively with the Engineering and Technical Teams to develop production methods as well as ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.The main requirements of the role include- Support completion of quotation packages providing information relating to resource planning- understand customer requirements for new projects and summarize to ensure flow-down is understood- Creation of part specific manufacturing instructions/programs for processes- Train operational teams and coordinate with sub-contractors to improve manufacturing processes- Drive Continuous Improvement across the manufacturing team- Support with all technical documentationAs a suitable candidate you will offer the following- Experience in high-volume production manufacturing and process flow-down requirements- an ability to interpret customer specifications- strong communication skills with an ability manage technical issues as they arise- Strong IT skills incl MS Office and ERP systems- CAM experience is essential- NX experience would be preferred but not essential- CNC grinding experience would be preferred but not essentialThe pay-rate for this role will be £22 an hour and the hours required are Mon-Fri 0700-1500 Keywords:Manufacturing Engineer, 3C, DESIGN, MRB, Continuous Improvement, CAM, CNC Grinding, NX
