This Head of Paraplanning job in South Leicester provides opportunity to join a local, medium sized Financial Planning firm.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner Team Leader to join the team as Head of Paraplanning. You will be providing leadership and operational oversight of their paraplanning department. You should lead from the front as a Diploma qualified individual with strong paraplanning technical experience and expertise.

Your duties will include:
- Oversee and manage workload through delegating tasks / workflows, focusing on prioritising works, turnaround times, managing Financial Adviser needs and meeting case deadlines
- Report to the Senior Management team
- Provide process improvement across your team and the wider business
- Providing technical help for the team, Financial Advisers and other departments
- Ensure the quality of the department is of high standard and consistent
- Provide staff training and mentoring, including tracking progress
- Hold regular 1:1s, departmental meetings and technical training sessions
- Be involved in Paraplanner recruitment
Head of Paraplanner Requirements
- You should have supervisory, team leader / management experience
- You should hold Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning or equivalent
- You should have strong experience within paraplanning and capable of being the Head of Paraplanning
