Position: Microsoft Teams Architect
Contract duration: 18 months
Location: London – hybrid working
IR35 Status: Inside
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative enterprise solutions leveraging the Microsoft Teams platform. This is a high-impact role within a major digital transformation programme, offering long-term stability and visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement architectural strategy across Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Design and deliver secure, scalable Teams apps, bots, connectors, and integrations using Teams SDK and Microsoft Graph API
- Leverage Microsoft Azure services (Functions, Bot Service, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure AD)
- Lead Teams Voice integrations including Direct Routing and Operator Connect
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and security standards
- Act as a technical lead, supporting delivery teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
What You Bring:
- Extensive experience in a Microsoft Teams / M365 architecture role
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Graph API, Teams SDK, and Azure integration services
- Deep understanding of Teams Voice, PowerShell automation, and governance best practices
- Familiarity with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience working in complex, regulated environments
Desirable:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Teams App Dev, Azure Solutions Architect, M365 Enterprise Admin
- Experience shaping Microsoft Teams strategy in large-scale organisations
