Job Description
Software Project Manager – Fully lifecycle including BA – Malton, North Yorkshire
£45,000 – £60,000 8% Pension Private Healthcare
Are you an ambitious Software Project Manager ready to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery? We're seeking a proactive Project Manager with Business Analysis skills to join a growing manufacturing business in Malton, where you'll have the autonomy to identify, scope, and deliver Software / ERP projects that drive real business impact. In this role you will run projects from the ‘ideas’ stage by working with stakeholders across the business, scoping projects, winning sponsors and then delivering the projects into production. This isn’t a role for a PM who wants to have pre-defined projects handed to them. This role will suit a Mid-level Project Manager with 3 years+ experience and is looking for the next step in their career.
What You'll Do:
- Take complete ownership of software projects from stakeholder ideas through to successful delivery
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable project plans
- Focus primarily on ERP and SAP-related initiatives, though broader software and platform experience is equally valued
- Build foundational systems and address legacy technical gaps across the business
- Travel occasionally within Europe to support project implementations
- You will be delivering Enterprise projects for their Business Systems that support their multi-site, multinational operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in Software project management or business analysis (we're open to Junior to Mid-level PMs ready to step up)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- SAP experience preferred, but solid ERP or experience delivering software applications projects will suffice.
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Flexibility for occasional European travel
- Most importantly: someone who thrives on taking initiative and building something from the ground up you will work on projects from end-to-end.
The Package:
- Competitive salary £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)
- 8% employer pension contribution
- Private healthcare (for salaries £50k+)
- Opportunity to grow with the business and shape the software function
Location & Working: This role is based full-time at their office in Malton, North Yorkshire (5 days per week on-site). You'll be reporting directly to the IT Director in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
This is perfect for someone who wants to make their mark, enjoys variety in their work, and is looking for genuine career progression in a stable, established business.
