Care Assistant – Residential Care Home – Whitby
Full-Time – Part-time – 24-36-48 hour contracts available with flexibility! – Rotas provided 5–6 weeks in advance

A modern, well-equipped care home with newly invigorated leadership is looking for compassionate, capable carers to join their team. This is part of a family-run group dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of care in a warm and supportive environment.

We're looking for:
- Experienced carers or those with relevant social care qualifications
- Individuals who are comfortable with personal care
- Good communication skills and English proficiency
- Genuine warmth and the ability to build strong relationships with residents
We need people who are naturally friendly, dependable, and motivated to deliver high standards of care in this close-knit community.
The Role:
- Ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing
- Support service users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
- Ensure care plans and other information about how to support service users are followed
- Be responsible for informing the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in the needs of service users
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service
- Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for service users
- If desired by the service user, maintain and develop relationships with their family, friends and other people important in their life
