Job Description

Senior Planner\\n\\nLinear Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established and reputable main contractor in West Yorkshire for an experienced Senior Planner to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Director; The Senior Planner is responsible for providing programmes, analysis of programmes and communication within the team as required by the preconstruction director during tender and construction stages.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Produce fully logic linked design, procurement and construct tender programmes\\n\\n * Produce and assist in the production of tender logistics plans, method statements, and temporary works schedules.\\n\\n * Engage with supply chain and team members to discuss and achieve optimum programme and method solutions\\n\\n * Assist project managers with onsite planning and reporting requirements\\n\\n * Produce robust fully logic linked design, procurement, construction and commission tender programmes compliant with tender sum\\n\\n * Produce tender deliverables as required (agreed at tender strategy meeting)\\n\\n * Work with allocated operations support in the production of method statement and scaffold schedules etc\\n\\n * Produce logistics plans / phasing plans\\n\\n * Engage with supply chain and team members to discuss and achieve optimum programme and method solutions\\n\\n * Attend all tender meetings incl. settlement if required\\n\\n * Identify, communicate and add key programme risks to the risk register\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\n * £75,000 per annum\\n\\n * £6,000 per annum\\n\\n * Fuel card\\n\\n * 3% pension contribution\\n\\n * 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising by one day per year to 28 days.\\n\\n * Medical Insurance\\n\\n * Gym membership\\n\\nRequired skills and qualifications\\n\\n * Competent in project management software; must be competent with Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project etc
