Position Description:
Sheats & Bailey is seeking a commercial litigation associate attorney. Our practice serves all aspects of the design and construction industry. We represent public and private owners, developers, design-builders, contractors, suppliers, design professionals, contractor associations and all parties in the contracting chain. Our practice covers construction project management, litigation and arbitration, contract negotiating and drafting, HR, corporate, labor relations and personnel law. We handle all types of contracts, litigation, claims, real estate, HR, labor and design malpractice litigation. Hybrid work available with office presence. Candidates must be admitted in New York State and have at least 5 yearsβ experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience and book of business. Duties include research and writing, depositions, discovery, mediation and arbitration, motion practice. The associate will work with senior attorneys and have opportunities to train and grow in all aspects of commercial litigation.
