We re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the construction and building services sector, seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Site Manager / Foreman / Engineer to lead the site delivery of M&E works across key projects in the Newcastle area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served M&E professional (mechanically or electrically biased) who thrives in a site-based leadership role and is passionate about quality, coordination, and safety.
The Role:

Oversee the day-to-day site delivery of mechanical and/or electrical installation works

Lead and coordinate subcontractors and direct operatives
-
Monitor progress against the programme and maintain regular site reporting

Ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and standards

Manage quality inspections, snagging, and handover processes
-
Maintain site safety procedures and ensure proper use of permit systems
What We\’re Looking For:

Time-served trade background in either electrical or mechanical building services
-
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is essential

Strong knowledge of containment, ductwork, cabling, plant room installations, and general M&E systems

Valid CSCS card (Supervisor or Manager level)

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Prior military leadership experience is a strong advantage
