I am excited to be working with a fashion-retail client in the heart of London, undergoing massive growth and they are currently looking for a Logistics Analyst to join their team (hybrid).
In this role, you will play a key role in shaping and optimising distribution and last-mile logistics, providing expert insights and direction to ensure best-practice methodologies are adopted by service providers. You will design and refine KPIs, steer logistics and distribution strategy, and oversee the development and maintenance of metrics dashboards and reports.
This is an exciting time to join the business as they open a new warehouse in the EU, which you will take ownership of, with occasional travel to the region required.
In this role, you will…
- Oversee all transportation activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution across logistics, transportation, and fulfilment operations.
- Assess and optimise logistics and transportation networks to drive cost reduction and enhance productivity through continuous improvement.
- Deliver against cost targets with carriers and 3PL partners while maintaining exceptional on-time performance.
- Partner with senior leaders and functional teams in Supply Chain and Logistics to identify, prioritise, and implement key transport initiatives.
- Track, measure, and report progress on transport projects, providing clear, regular updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with Operations and E-commerce teams to implement best-practice logistics benchmarking for scalable application.
About you:
- 2 years + experience in logistics, including involvement in project work.
- Understanding of contract logistics (parcel and pallet) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel.
- Innovative thinker with the ability to develop and deliver creative solutions.
