ServiceNow Technical Architect

Remote-first, with flexibility to travel to UK client sites as needed

£80,000 – £95,000 + 5% bonus + benefits

We're hiring a ServiceNow Technical Architect to support complex public sector programmes within digital transformation consultancy.

The role involves shaping technical solutions, leading delivery, and mentoring developers.

This is more than just project oversight – you'll be hands-on in design, architecture, and client engagement, working across ITOM, ITAM and IRM.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the technical design and delivery of ServiceNow solutions, particularly integrations and platform architecture
  • Reviewing developer output and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
  • Working directly with clients to understand business requirement and design solutions that fit both on-prem and cloud ServiceNow environments
  • Participating in governance, steering boards, and technical decision-making
  • Supporting internal capability growth – whether through practice development, roadmaps, or pre-sales
  • Drawing on in-house architect training and knowledge-sharing programmes

What we're looking for

  • Strong development background in ServiceNow, with hands-on delivery experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a technical architecture role
  • Solid understanding of integration approaches and the ServiceNow platform's role in enterprise architecture
  • Experience working with ITOM, ITAM, or IRM modules
  • Ability to work across both technical delivery and client advisory
  • Experience with solution design, documentation, and technical planning
