We are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager on a permanent basis to join our team based at our head office in Didsbury, Manchester .
How can you make a difference?
This role is a crucial part to our projects team, which undertakes projects ranging from small contracts (small number of wind turbines where our responsibility is to supply, install and commission the turbines only) to large, turn-key projects where Nordex is responsible for building the entire multi-turbine wind farm. Projects range in value from ÂŁ50m-ÂŁ150m.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities For This Role Include
- Analysis the Terms and conditions of the customer contact and advice the team accordingly
- Identifies and anticipates contractual risk and opportunities
- Monitors how the Parties are performing their obligations under the contract.
- Variations/both Head and Subcontract.
- Claims Management of both Head and Subcontract.
- Daft amendments and settlement agreement
- Coordination of communications with Subcontractors and Clients.
- Lead the claims strategy, negotiation process.
- Records and administers the change orders in an online system.
- Monthly reporting to tight time scales
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field and have recent experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewables sector.
You will hold or actively working towards MRICS membership and have a strong understanding of cost management, contract administration and financial planning, Team work and Drive.
