The Role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Product Analyst (Data) to join our data and analytics team and deliver data products that drive substantial value for SSEN Distribution.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define a vision for data solutions that align seamlessly with our strategic business objectives. If you thrive on translating complex business needs into impactful data-driven strategies while advocating for data-enabled decision-making, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our dynamic environment.
You will
- Define and communicate a clear vision for data products in alignment with strategic business goals, working closely with stakeholders and product owners.
- Translate business needs into user stories, manage product roadmaps, and balance priorities with budget and strategic objectives.
- Track and measure the value and benefits of data products, ensuring business outcomes are clearly defined and monitored.
- Drive successful implementation and adoption through collaboration with delivery and change teams, using feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Champion data-driven decision-making and actively engage in Agile ceremonies to support iterative development and stakeholder engagement.
You have
- Strong experience in planning roadmaps, engaging stakeholders, and managing delivery of data products including analytics, reporting, and any ML/AI solutions.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Databricks, and Azure, with skills in data visualization, quality analysis, and prototyping.
- Proven ability to shape product requirements through high-quality analysis and understanding of data modelling.
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), with experience in capturing requirements as epics, features, and user stories.
- Sector experience in Utilities, Energy, or regulated industries, with a track record of driving product adoption and managing change effectively.
