What Will Your Day Look Like?
As a Senior Broker, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert facultative reinsurance solutions. Your day-to-day will include:
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients on a range of Power Generation facultative reinsurance placements
- Advising on placement design, coverage options, market capacity, pricing trends, and strategic improvements
- Supporting the development and delivery of compelling market presentations and broking strategies
- Identifying optimal placement channels aligned with client guidelines and influencing market outcomes
- Negotiating terms and conditions with insurers to secure the best possible deals
- Ensuring compliance with Aon’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including mandatory training and risk mitigation activities
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven experience in broking and/ or underwriting facultative reinsurance, for technical lines, Power Gen, O&G or similar.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential, enabling effective communication across LATAM markets
- Strong technical understanding of client needs and the reinsurance market
- Proven experience in broking and facultative reinsurance
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Confident networker with deep industry connections
- Skilled in sales and marketing within the insurance sector
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated data interpretation capabilities
