Steele Charles are delighted to be representing a second opportunity for a leading aerospace company in Hampshire to find a talented Continued Airworthiness Engineer to join their team. This position requires two to three years of experience in airworthiness engineering or continuing airworthiness management. It also offers a clear career progression pathway to become an Airworthiness Manager within two years, based on strong performance.
Conduct airworthiness assessments of modifications, repairs, and upgrades to ensure regulatory compliance.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and maintenance organizations regarding airworthiness matters.
Evaluate Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) for applicability and implementation.
Monitor and maintain the accuracy of aircraft technical records, ensuring updates are reflected in maintenance tracking systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Assist with internal and external audits, including CAMO and regulatory authority inspections.
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–3 years of experience in airworthiness engineering or continuing airworthiness management.
~ Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as EASA, FAA, and ICAO.
~ Experience with maintenance planning and technical record-keeping systems (e.g., Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and airworthiness data.
