JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 HMP Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Bangor.

The pay for this position is £20 – £23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for a full-time 12 week duration.

Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join the Therapies team here at HMP Berwyn, a category C prison for adult men with a range of varied health needs. This is a great opportunity to embed change and embed a shared culture with HMP and the probation service.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is motivated to work with a range of clinical presentations, including mental and physical health, as learning disability and substance misuse and who is passionate in sharing the benefits of Occupational Therapy. They will work alongside Occupational Therapy colleagues as part of a wider healthcare team and be well supported within the role. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and an interest in working in the prison setting to reduce the impact of health inequalities.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
