Overview
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a People Advisor to work at our customer site in Derby on a contract basis.
The role supports the effective delivery of HR operations, meeting business needs supporting the HR delivery model and Company policy.

Key responsibilities
- Support People Partners in the delivery of the Talent processes and People Meetings for business areas.
- Support local deployment of Company HR processes such as Absence Management, Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy and Career Development Framework activities.
- Responsible for providing support to People Partners and Case Managers to enable HR processes to be executed efficiently and effectively supporting the HR operating model. Provide guidance to line managers to obtain support from the right areas; maintain a strong partnership with other HR activities to ensure overall service delivery.
- Raise employee concerns and engagement issues and recommending action to create a positive and productive working environment, liaising with the relevant ER team where necessary.
- Support change management projects and communications for HR initiatives.
- Provide support to a range of business processes as required for example: HR Risk Management, Sustainability, Security controller for HR, HSE lead for HR
- Support for regulatory requirements ie. Licensed conditions LC10, 12, 36 as required.
- Escalation management of GBS cases (HR Shared Service)
- Advise and support line managers on people/team management responsibilities and processes.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in a Business or HR Discipline or equivalent experience
- Articulate, numerate and ability to manipulate and present data as required
- Comfortable around key tools including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Good working knowledge of HR processes and the relevant IT systems to support those processes, Workday would be an advantage
- Broad change management skill set along with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organizational change.
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skill set.
- Ability to influence others effectively in a business environment.
- Problem solving approach to process improvement.
