A leading global private markets investment firm is seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Associate to join its growing team in London, focused on secondaries and portfolio finance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across private equity secondaries transactions and complex capital structuring solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the evaluation and execution of secondary investments, including LP stake acquisitions, GP-led transactions, and structured deals.
- Conduct detailed financial modeling and portfolio analysis across a wide range of private market funds and assets.
- Assist in the structuring and negotiation of portfolio finance solutions, including NAV-based lending and other fund-level financings.
- Prepare investment memos and materials for internal investment committee discussions.
- Collaborate with global investment, legal, tax, and operations teams to support transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management.
- Monitor performance of existing investments and support periodic valuations and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, secondaries, fund finance, or transaction services.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exposure to private markets (e.g., fund structures, capital calls/distributions, LPAs) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong academic background from a leading university or business school.
