The Role

As Plant Manager, you\’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and motivated working environment. The role is split 60% shop floor, 40% office-based, giving you the chance to lead from the front while managing planning, reporting, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team across production and recycling operations
  • Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and safety standards
  • Manage workflow, shift planning, and resource allocation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and staff training
  • Liaise with senior management on performance and operational updates
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or plant management role (manufacturing, recycling, or similar)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop teams
