This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a busy site, lead a dedicated team, and drive productivity in a business that\’s making a real environmental impact.
The Role
As Plant Manager, you\’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and motivated working environment. The role is split 60% shop floor, 40% office-based, giving you the chance to lead from the front while managing planning, reporting, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team across production and recycling operations
- Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and safety standards
- Manage workflow, shift planning, and resource allocation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and staff training
- Liaise with senior management on performance and operational updates
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a supervisory or plant management role (manufacturing, recycling, or similar)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Organised, proactive, and confident in managing both people and processes
- Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment
