We\’re looking for an experienced, proactive Contract Manager with a passion for sustainability & quality housing.
As part of our ambition to deliver 25,000 new homes over the next 10 years, we\’re investing significantly in improving and retrofitting our existing homes to make them more energy-efficient and future-ready.
The role
As a Contract Manager within the Retrofit team, you will play a crucial role by ensuring that contracts are effectively managed and delivered in line with agreed terms and conditions.
You will be responsible for managing the cost and risk of contracts, ensuring value for money, and maintaining compliance with all legal and quality standards. This role will be key in ensuring that all activities are carried out competently, safely, and in alignment with SNG\’s commitments, monitoring performance, and adhering to regulatory obligations.
What we\’re looking for:
- Experience of managing multi-disciplinary contracts in a large and complex Housing Association, managing specialised contractors.
- Excellent practical/working knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, PAS documents specifically 2035/2030/63100, NICIEC, MCS and British Standards etc.
- Proven track record of success in contract management (of similar size)
- Ability to analyse business information and formulate metrics that deliver permanent or consolidated progress.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation with focus on compliance within all activities undertaken by retrofit contractors
