Description

We are seeking a dedicated rugby coach to promote the development of women\’s rugby at university. The team comprises players with varying levels of experience.

Many players have had their first rugby experience at university, so qualities such as patience, supportiveness, knowledge, and enthusiasm for onboarding new players are highly desirable.

Since some players may be new to contact sports, the coach should be able to introduce contact elements gradually and support players with less confidence in contact situations.

The coach will organize and adapt training sessions based on feedback from the team captain and president regarding match performances.

Initial sessions will likely focus on fundamental skills such as passing, tackling, and basic game structures.

The coach should be capable of training both backs and forwards to develop effective back-line strategies, as well as strong scrums and lineouts.
