About the Role:
The Durability & Robustness Programme Leader is a key role within our client\’s Driven Attribute Integration organisation. You will ensure all customer expectations for durability and robustness are met through precise target setting, design development, and whole-vehicle verification using virtual and physical test methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all Attribute Requirement targets by project gateways.
- Support the Programme Attribute Team in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Develop detailed strategy & delivery plans for durability, covering CAE, Road Load Data, rig tests, and vehicle DV activities.
- Collaborate with system/component teams to cascade and maintain target requirements.
- Drive resolution of engineering issues with suppliers and component engineers.
- Provide technical recommendations, test reports, and issue status updates.
- Capture lessons learned from current vehicles and feed back into future development.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong problem-solving skills (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE).
- Understanding of Durability & Strength principles and Systems Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
- Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with AGILE working principles.
- Familiarity with CAD visualization tools (3Dx, TeamCentre).
- Whole-vehicle engineering or cross-functional experience.
- Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
