This is a newly created role to support the growth of Starlings Retail Lending proposition through the management and maintenance of strategies within the selected Decision System. This role will be pivotal in the creation of a new decision systems function with Starling and with the opportunity to lead on new product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of new retail lending products with the decision system
- Build, test, maintain and deploy credit strategies for new products
- Supporting the development of credit decisioning strategies for both retail and SME unsecured products
- Deliver BAU lending changes and support wider programme initiatives providing key Decision System subject matter expertise
- Drive best practice and help to create and manage system governance processes
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, both with internal and key external contacts
- Experience in decision systems using any of the following platforms PowerCurve, FICO OM, FICO Blaze, GDS, Provenir, Lending Metrics,Taktile
- Relevant experience and understanding of credit risk or risk delivery function
- Experience delivering large scale projects including inputting to architectural design, delivery, testing and programme delivery
- Highly technical with an ability to interpret requirements and provide subject matter expertise in delivering best outcomes
- Strong problem solver who is able to influence wider business stakeholders with best practice knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities within a dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and technical expertise in decisioning and wider architecture for lending

- Highly effective at planning and delivering decision systems changes and programmes
