Due to continued growth and investment on site including the installation of a new Canning Line to support increased production demands we are currently looking to expand the engineering team! Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with good electrical skills? working in a FMCG environment you will be responsible for maintenance of the production equipment is maintained to the highest standards, working with the production team to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Bottling & Canning Plant. You will be involved in but not limited to projects, installations, PPM and breakdowns. The role as a Maintenance Engineer: You will be required to work on and diagnose both Electrical and Mechanical Faults Proactive and reactive maintenance of a range of machinery. CI & Lean projects. You will be a strong team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own initiative, making effective decisions and judgements when required. Fabrication experience would also be advantageous but not essential. Skills and Qualifications required in this Maintenance Engineers role: Be apprentice trained and have excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance. 18th Edition Previous experience within a FMCG environment would be advantageous Electrical and Mechanical skills including: 3 phase motors, drives, control and fault-finding on PLCs. Ability to read from schematics. The Benefits of a Maintenance Engineer: Monday Friday Basic Salary £45,000 – £49,000 depending on experiance 3 shift 6am-2pm/10am-6pm/2pm-10pm Holiday Allowance 25 Bank holidays.
